Melissa Jacbovwiwiz from North Chicago got for her

12th Birthday last week a brand new Black Mamba

Special Edition camcorder. Thanks in part to great & understanding parents, her 6th grade Summer Camp Counselor and some fund raising by her & her fellow classmates. Her very first project was to resume the Class Camp Project of a Safety With Playground Equipment that was started several weeks ago but due to a broken old 8mm Sony had to be postponed. Now with the brand new MX7000 arriving to save the day she and her classmates were not only able to finish the project but to win First Place! Because of this singular achievement and all the help she said her meister has provided her... she has agreed to help her meister out, as a favor... to answer questions posed by some of my many e-mailers concerning operating and using the MX7000 camcorder. Based on her experience I give her this forum with pleasure.

One of the judges on the film projects was the local city's Police Chief. He has since requested also a MX Black Mamba for his Training & Accident Prevention Teams. We here at SuperVideo and at MXSource both want to salute and congratulate Melissa and her classmates on an outstanding accomplishment...

First e-mailer writes... "meister... how will I ever learn how to use this MX cam since it's all in Japanese?

Melissa writes that her and two of her classmates were "up and running within 20 minutes after delivery. We were able to figure most out because they have used in the past at summer camp an old Sony 1 chip analog 8mm camcorder and it works the same. Two features had to be set though, but.. both were luckily on the outside... Focus set to Manual & turning the cam to On.

Dear meister... will I be able to get the English instructions all in time with the camcorder or will I be stuck keeping it in the closet all summer?

Melissa writes... "take the camcorder and carefully insert it back into the box. Place a label on it and address it to the manufacturer and tell them you are too stupid to own such a simple machine.... !"

meister can you tell me if this MX cam can run 12 hours continuously and will it play back HD tapes?
Melissa writes... " It will do 24p....
Melissa writes... after you crack an egg on it in Phoenix around 2PM and the sun gets to about 115 degrees in the shade just before your head comes to a boil and your shoes start to smake... ok... Smoke and the tape goes up in flames...
the egg will fry on the view screen... then all you do is throw the cam in the nearest waste receptacle and buy another because you are Both Rich as well as Stupid... and stupid do as stupid do
according to GUMP and then you plug Firtewire not into your ass hole or at least not this time... and buy while you are at it a DVX100 and then turn on the UNFRIED MX remaining and hook the fer wire to the two cams and waa-laa the MX is recording in 24p... then you can take that worthless 24p and show it to no one as no one has a 24p anything...

you know meistrer these guys are going to send me to the loony house yet...

my mister meister... I found someone on the other side of the earth who said he will sell this cam to me for only a thousand dollars, is that OK?

Then, take all the money you have in the bank as a withdrawal and make the check payable to Santa and mail it to Melissa 6th Grade class at Camp Run-Amok. They will make sure Santa and his elves take good care of it since you apparently can't follow simple instructions.
