AG-DVX100 mentioned in PAL, Unless it shows up in the
September Euro shows then it will have to wait till 2003,
maybe.
Word on the street is there will be a Dual Format PAL camcorder
but availability is iffy at best by years end! We will
have to just see.

Speaking
of the new Pana 24p @NAB...
They showed a portable field DV VCR
which
looks to be based on the Recorder
housing
of the 24p. It seems at first glance what
we
have here is the 3.5" TFT screen and the DV
tape transport section removed to operate on
battery as a back-up DV field deck at
5x3x2"
AND THAT IS PRETTY DAMN SMALL !
